Man denies causing girl Much Wenlock’s death in tree crash

A man has pleaded not guilty to causing death by dangerous driving after a 17-year-old girl died when her car crashed into a tree.

West Mercia Police said the vehicle left the road and crashed onto the B4376 near Much Wenlock, Shropshire, on November 28.

It was stated that Madison Evans, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was in critical condition and died at the scene.

Sean Cox, 21, of Severn Way, Shrewsbury, entered his plea at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Tuesday and was granted bail. His trial was postponed to November 10, 2025.
