Two people who fatally stabbed brothers in the Bronx: NYPD

SOUNDVIEW, Bronx (PIX11) — Police have arrested two men in connection with a fatal stabbing that left two brothers dead in Soundview.

The stabbing incident occurred on Sunday, October 13.

Meryl Vasquez, the wife of one of the brothers, I previously told PIX11 News It was stated that at the time of the incident, her husband Leider Guevara Cubas and his brother Ernesto Hector Guevara were on their way home after a night out.

According to police, 24-year-old Hector Ernesto was stabbed in the stomach and 27-year-old Leider was stabbed in the chest.

NYPD has since arrested two suspects.

Nelson Quezada, 34, of the Bronx, was arrested on October 28. Melquiceded Grullon Cepeda, 27, of the Bronx, was arrested on November 6.

Police charged Quezada with murder, manslaughter and weapons offenses. Grullon Cepeda was charged with murder, manslaughter, gang assault and weapons charges.
