A Garda investigation is ongoing following an attempted burglary in the Annaduff area of ​​Carrick-on-Shannon in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The occupants of the Jeep, which had a yellow license plate on the back, were disturbed at a vacant property.

The raiders left the scene after the property owners were disturbed. The vehicle was driven at speed towards Dromod/N4.
