Cape Coral man charged with possession of child pornography

CAPE CORAL, Fla — Cape Coral Police arrested Michael Neuman and charged him with producing child pornography.

Announcing the arrest on Thursday, the ministry said the “material was extremely graphic and depicted infants and young children.”

Police said the department’s Special Victims Unit began investigating the case in June, based on a Cyber ​​Tip received by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tipster said someone was uploading child pornography.

Police said they found several different samples of the material and were able to track down the person who uploaded it.

They say Neuman was in possession of more than 10 child pornography videos and numerous photographs.

He was arrested Wednesday and taken to the Lee County Jail.
