Suspect Fugitive After 3 Random House Raids in Duluth

UPDATE 11/7 (10:38 a.m.): Duluth police are investigating a third burglary in the city in the past three days. According to authorities, on Nov. 6 around 9 p.m., a white male entered a home in the 2500 block of East 2nd Street. The resident fled the scene but fell during the escape and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect is still at large.

ORIGINAL 11/6: The Duluth Police Department is investigating two random home invasions within two days.

The first happened on Nov. 4 in the 200 block of West Kent Road. The second occurred on Nov. 5 in the area of ​​1500 Vermilion Road. Authorities said both occurred between 6 and 8 p.m.

Police said after initial investigation, the suspect was identified as a white man who entered both homes and threatened those inside.

A total of three victims found in the homes were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police Chief Mike Ceynowa could not say what type of injuries occurred or how they occurred.

The suspect was at large as of Wednesday night.

Neighbors are encouraged to check doorbell cameras and other surveillance video to see if anyone suspicious has been caught.
