Independence man arrested on 20 counts of pornography involving teenagers

LIVINGSTON, La. (WAFB) – An Independence man is facing multiple child pornography charges.

According to authorities, Michael L. Strahan, 23, of Arthur Bankston Road in Independence, was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 6, for the following violations:

• Pornography Involving Youth Under 17 (Criminal) 20 Counts

This arrest resulted from a joint investigation with General Murrill’s Cyber ​​Crime Unit and Fugitive Apprehension Unit, the Louisiana State Police Fugitive Task Force, and the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Strahan was transported to the Livingston Parish Detention Center.
