The bear at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo enjoys the snow on Thursday

COLORADO SPRINGS — Not everyone enjoys snow, whether it’s due to road conditions or the cold. But someone at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo doesn’t care.

Emmett, the 19-year-old grizzly bear at the zoo, is drenched in snowflakes. It may be hard to tell, but he’s literally trying to catch them with his tongue.

Emmett is one of two grizzly bears at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. He shares space with his longtime roommate, Digger.
