Russian troops cut the Zaporozhye-Kurakhovo highway – official – Russian Politics and Diplomacy

MELITOPOL, 8 November. /TASS/. Vladimir Rogov, Chairman of the Russian Civil Chamber’s Commission on sovereignty, patriotic projects and support for veterans, says that the Russian Armed Forces are advancing towards the Zaporozhye-Kurakhovo highway from various directions.

“A concentrated offensive is underway in several areas on the cutting of the Zaporozhye-Kurakhovo highway. This will eliminate the ability of Ukrainian militants in Kurakhovo to control this settlement, since this is the main transport artery for the transportation of personnel, ammunition and everything else, “he said.

Earlier, press spokesman for Ukraine’s 33rd Brigade, Nazar Voytenkov, said about Ukrainian Freedom (considered a foreign agent and undesirable in Russia) that Ukrainian forces could be surrounded near Kurakhovo in the Kiev-controlled part of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
