Shreveport police arrest man involved in domestic violence incident in Willis-Knighton

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – A man has been arrested following an alleged domestic violence incident that occurred at a Shreveport hospital.

Police say they were alerted to a serious domestic violence incident that occurred around 3:15 a.m. on Oct. 27 in Willis-Knighton South. An officer at the hospital reported that the victim had significant swelling to his face, which led to an investigation.

OTHER CRIME AT ARKLATEX

When officers spoke with the victim, she said she had been shot twice in the face by her boyfriend, Khiry Jenkins. As a result, he suffered fractures on both sides of his face. Detectives confirmed the injuries with medical personnel.

On November 8, Jenkins was arrested for causing serious bodily injury to his dating partner.
