25-Year-Old Man Arrested for Kidnapping and Raping 17-Year-Old Girl Near Gandhwani | Indore News

Mhow: A 25-year-old youth from Moripura village was arrested for kidnapping and rape following a complaint by a 17-year-old girl in Gandhwani on Friday morning.
Sub-Inspector Vijay Kumar Mishra of Gandhwani police station told TOI, “The girl came to the police station with her family on Friday. She told the police that she had gone to her sister’s house in Gandhwani by bus and was there when she got off the bus and saw her distant relative Rinkesh Nargesh standing on his bike.” Rinkesh said that he would drop her at her sister’s house where she went with him, but instead of taking her there, Rinkesh took her to Vasli Bayda, about three kilometers from Gandhwani. He went to her village and raped her at an agricultural farm and threatened to kill her sister and brother-in-law when she tried to raise an alarm and then dropped her off at Gandhwani bus stand before fleeing from there.”
Mishwar said Sub-Inspector Rani Rathore investigated the case and raided the accused’s house, but the accused escaped.
