Police in Anderson, about 40 miles from Indianapolis, said they found a bloody scene while responding to a report of a stabbing that occurred around 11:49 p.m. on Oct. 30.

Caleb Xavier Ingram, 21, answered the door when officers arrived and led them upstairs to the murder scene, according to TV station WXIN.

It was there that they discovered 22-year-old William Henry Ingram IV with a stab wound on the left side of his neck. Police also reportedly found bloody footprints and blood in the hallway, bedroom and bathroom. Law and Crime.

A medium-sized orange knife was found outside the suspect’s bedroom. Caleb Ingram was covered in blood that did not belong to him, the source reported. When police rushed his brother to the hospital, he died from his injuries.

Caleb Ingram was transported to the hospital for “possible medical treatment” due to the “amount of blood on him,” but doctors later discovered the man had no injuries.

The man told police that his brother also spent the money he planned to spend on his girlfriend.

“I took this seriously,” Caleb Ingram told police. Video taken from the back of a patrol vehicle revealed Caleb Ingram saying: “$10, are you going to get mad at him for $10?”

“William, I’m so sorry,” the man continued, speaking to himself. “I love you so much. Please let him live. I’m so sorry. I will never pick up a knife again.”

The man reportedly continued to ask authorities for information about his brother’s health. When authorities told him his brother was dead, Caleb Ingram “kneeled down and began breathing heavily.”

The man’s parents told police the two had never gotten into a physical fight until the day he was allegedly stabbed. Caleb Ingram is currently being held in custody at the Madison County Jail without bond. He is accused of a murder.
