Candyman star Tony Todd dies at 69

Prolific Hollywood actor Tony Todd has passed away at the age of 69.

The actor’s wife confirmed his death, telling the Hollywood Reporter that he died peacefully at his home in Los Angeles after a long illness.

Mr. Todd was best known for his role as the title character in the horror film ‘Candyman.’

The actor has also appeared in other cult classics such as ‘Final Destination’, ‘The Crow’, ‘Night of the Living Dead’ and the ‘Transformer’ movies.

He also made a guest appearance in the television series ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ as Commander Kurn.

Tony Todd is remembered with his wife and two children.
