Shooting phrases from the winning car

PIERRE, SD (KELO) — A federal judge sentenced two Winner men for their roles in a drive-by shooting on the Rosebud Reservation.

Arthur Black Bull, 19, will be sentenced to 10 years in prison, and Therryn Black Horse, 22, will be sentenced to 5 years.

The shooting took place in April 2023 at the Winner Tribal Residence.

Prosecutors said Black Horse had a disagreement with the victim and wanted to scare him.

Prosecutors said Black Bull fired multiple shots into the home where the victim was with his family. No one was injured.

The casings at the scene matched the gun identified as belonging to Black Bull.
