UP Horror: NEET Candidate Raped and Blackmailed by Two Coaching Teachers in Kanpur, Arrested | India News

UP Crime News: A junior NEET student at a leading coaching institute in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur was allegedly kept hostage for six months and raped by two of her teachers. According to police, the student moved from Fatehpur to Kanpur to prepare for the medical entrance exam. According to news agency PTI, officials said the ordeal for the student began in December 2022, when he was staying in a hostel in the city. The victim student was 17 years old when the incident occurred.

Speaking about the alleged incident, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Kalyanpur) Abhishek Pandey said that the case was registered after reaching Kalyanpur police station on Friday. It was stated that the two teachers accused in the case are biology teacher Sahil Siddiqui and chemistry teacher Vikas Porwal. They were arrested and charged with rape, false imprisonment, criminal intimidation and under the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.

In her complaint, the survivor told the police that in December 2022, as reported by PTI, Siddiqui invited her to his friend’s flat in Kalyanpur’s Makdi-Khera area for a New Year party and told her that other students would also be there. The student claimed that when she reached the flat, she found only Siddiqui there, that Siddiqui drugged her by adding sedatives to her soft drink and raped her while recording this episode on video.

According to the complaint, Siddiqui allegedly held her hostage in his home for over six months, during which time he repeatedly raped her and also threatened to share the video online if she spoke to anyone about it. The student also alleged that Porwal raped her a few months after that. In the FIR, the victim said that she could not muster the courage to seek help from the police as she was afraid of endangering her family.

Six months later, the victim girl’s mother came to Kanpur and took her with her. The girl was initially hesitant to contact the police but decided to take the step when she came across a video showing Siddiqui sexually assaulting a student she was coaching.

The case is against two teachers under Sections 328 (causing hurt by poison etc. with intent to commit an offence), 376(2)(n) (repeatedly raping the same woman), 376(2)(n) of the Indian Penal Code. recorded. Sections 344 (wrongful imprisonment for 10 or more days) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) and POCSO Act are applicable, an official said.
