3 people officially charged in connection with stabbing that injured at least 1 person in Dayton

Three people have been formally charged in a stabbing that injured at least one person in Dayton last month.

Three people, two 19-year-olds and one 24-year-old, were arrested in connection with the stabbing.

All three were indicted on charges related to the stabbing, according to a grand jury report.

Nathan Kyle Harber, 19, faces one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of aggravated assault causing serious bodily harm.

Nel’shon Howard, 24, of Tavion, faces a charge of possession of a weapon while under disability for a prior violent crime.

Dae’toine Amontaey Jamar Shells, 19, faces a charge of discharging a firearm in or near a restricted place.

Harber and Shells remain in custody at the Montgomery County Jail. Howard is not in jail, according to jail records.
