Brutal police: Man arrested in connection with ‘road rage’ shooting incident

Authorities arrested a man in connection with a drive-by shooting in Savage on Monday.

Like previously reportedA dispute at the intersection of Stagecoach Road and Preserve Trail led to a shooting that occurred about a half-mile away. When police arrived on scene, they found one victim who was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Savage Police Department confirmed through 5 eyewitness reports that the incident is being investigated as a traffic accident incident.

The victim of the attack was in his Eco Shield work truck at the time. The company confirmed to 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS that one of its employees was involved in the incident and that they had received training to avoid traffic fights.

Wild police say a 47-year-old man was taken into custody without incident at his home in Shakopee on Friday. It is stated that the man was previously convicted of a felony that prohibits him from owning a firearm.

The suspect is currently in custody at the Scott County Detention Center on four charges, including attempted second-degree murder and second-degree assault.
