A 46-year-old man was arrested after allegedly stabbing his colleague multiple times while working at a Chinese restaurant in Sydney’s northwest

A fight between two workers at a Chinese restaurant in Sydney’s northwest turned serious after a man allegedly repeatedly stabbed a man almost 20 years his senior.

NSW Police were called to Crystal Seafood Restaurant on Rembrandt Street, Carlingford, around 2pm on Sunday following reports of alleged violence at the restaurant.

A 46-year-old worker was arrested after an argument between him and a 63-year-old man allegedly turned violent.

The elderly man, who was allegedly stabbed multiple times by the 46-year-old man, was taken to the Royal North Shore Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The young man, who was slightly injured in the head, was detained at the scene and taken to the hospital.

He is currently under police protection.

Authorities have located the scene and police are continuing their investigation.
