Tigers lose 42-13 to Tide

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The LSU Tigers came off a bye week against the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday, still stinging from the previous week’s loss to Texas A&M, their first loss since the season opener.

Unfortunately for LSU, the Crimson Tide were not impressed by the Tiger’s high hopes coming into this game and the presence of a live tiger, handing LSU its third loss of the season.

The Tide would rise first and score their first goal early in the first quarter. They would then continue to outrebound the Tigers in the first half, taking a 21-6 lead into halftime and holding LSU to just two field goals.

The Tigers saw little lead in the second half and were unable to stop the Tide’s offense as LSU’s offense was unable to do the same.

Even with a last-minute LSU field goal, Alabama would come away with a 42-13 victory in Death Valley on Saturday night.

LSU’s next game will be an away game against the Florida Gators on Saturday, November 16.

Start time is scheduled for 14.30
