Zomato CEO Deepined Goyal reveals how he met his wife Grecia Munoz for the first time The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show.

The audience was in for a treat as host Kapil Sharma welcomed a stellar panel of guests, including Infosys founder Narayana Murthy, author Sudha Murthy, Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal and his wife Grecia Munoz.

Kapil wasted no time diving into Deepinder’s personal stories, with a special focus on how he met his Mexican wife, Grecia.

With his trademark sense of humour, Kapil asked Deepinder the story behind meeting Grecia. Smiling nostalgically, Deepinder said: “I was alone for the longest time. My friends would often set me up on dates but always advised me not to take it too seriously. When Grecia first came to Delhi, a friend of mine called me and said, ‘There’s a girl here you should meet.’ “He even predicted, ‘You’ll end up marrying him.’ It was ironic because he was usually the one telling me not to calm down. I met him and the rest is history.”

Kapil then turned his attention to Grecia and wondered about her experience with Indian cuisine. Grecia smiled and said: “I love Indian food because of its diversity.”

When co-host Archana Puran Singh asked her favorite food, Grecia was quick to reply: “Chole Bhature.” This statement caused laughter from Sudha Murthy, who had made a joke earlier. Chole Bhature he joined in, giggling because it was unhealthy.

Kapil quipped, “Look at her, she came all the way from Mexico and ended up liking chole bhature.” Sudha added with a smile: “And although he ate Chole Bhaturehe is still weak!”

The conversation soon turned to home life and Kapil cheekily asked if Grecia had ever ventured into something ‘conventional’.first rasoi‘ (the first meal a bride cooks).

Deepinder immediately intervened: “Cooking is not allowed in our house. We always order.” The quip was met with loud applause and laughter, an apt statement from the CEO of one of India’s top food delivery services.
