An unruly pilot had to be restrained after trying to open the emergency door in flight. According to Jam Press, this devastating incident occurred on Friday on Korean Airlines flight KE658 from Bangkok, Thailand, to Seoul, the capital of South Korea.

Passenger who tried to open the emergency door during the flight was detained

After the plane landed safely in the South Korean capital, the man was sent to authorities for “further investigation.” Airline representatives continued: “The incident was managed in accordance with our established security protocols to prioritize passenger safety and operational integrity.”

They added, “while the situation has been successfully brought under control, we will (fully) cooperate with the appropriate authorities in investigating this matter,” according to the New York Post.
