Man convicted of child sex trafficking, FBI seeks other defendants

A Franklin County man who pleaded guilty to child sex trafficking in August has been sentenced to ten years in federal prison.

U.S. District Judge Matthew T. Schelp sentenced Theodore “Ted” John Sartori Sr., 64, on Thursday, Nov. 7.

Sartori in August pleaded guilty is charged with a felony charge of traveling with the intent to engage in illegal sexual conduct.

Sartori will also have to pay more than $25,000 in restitution to his victim.

He admitted giving cash, a car, a motorbike, Christmas gifts and holidays to a friend in exchange for access to a 14-year-old girl from 2013 to 2016.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri State Highway Patrol and FBI asked for the public’s help in finding Sartori’s co-defendant, Donald Eugene Fields, II, 60.

Last known address in missouri he has family there and in Kentucky.

He also has ties to Florida and has been known to visit casinos.

Fields is described as a white male, 6-foot-10 to 5-foot-4, weighing approximately 235 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

He has scars on his chest, groin, left calf, legs, knees, and a distinctive tribal tattoo on his right shoulder.

The FBI offered a $250,000 reward for information leading to his capture; this was more than twice the amount the agency normally offered.

He is considered armed and dangerous.
