Questions remain after press conference on local mother’s mysterious case

SAN ANTONIO – We learned more about the mysterious case of the disappearance of local mother Suzanne Simpson last week.

Her husband, Brad Simpson, is now charged with murder. On Friday, we learned that crews were searching a property in Bandera to find Suzanne’s remains.

Brad’s longtime business partner, James ‘Val’ Cotter, was released from Bexar County jail on reduced bail. Cotter faces two felony charges in connection with the case, accusing him of concealing an AK 47 for Brad Simpson.

Although a brief press conference was held by Olmos Park police and DPS/TX rangers on Friday, we received only limited information and only a few questions were answered at the briefing the day after we learned of the murder charge.

Jordan Elder was there, asking probing questions…

“How long does it normally take to get information over the phone or did you give us a picture of Brad’s truck?”

“Did you find anything useful on that truck’s GPS?”

“Does Brad Simpson want anything in return for his cooperation?”

Officials responded, “I have no information about this.”

Jordan tried, but we’re left with a lot of unanswered questions in the Suzanne Simpson case…

“When will the details of the search and murder warrants on her husband’s new charge be released?”

Second, “Why were the arrest warrants sealed?

And finally, “Why did the search lead to Bandera and what evidence points to this property?
