A. ryanair Flight was forced make an emergency landing -most London Stansted after a passenger died on board.

Chaos broke out on the flight from Albania’s capital Tirana to Manchester Airport on Sunday evening, when a man suffered a “medical emergency” in the air.

Paramedics, police and air ambulance met the plane, which was directed to the capital.

Nothing could be done to save the unidentified person and it was determined that the man died at the scene.

An eyewitness said the victim began having ‘convulsions’ in her seat before being moved into the aisle. Manchester Evening News reported.

They said some passengers with first aid training jumped into action as soon as the medical emergency began.

‘He stopped breathing and everything turned into chaos,’ they said.

‘A few of us with first aid training rushed to help and started CPR with the defibrillator set up.’

The passenger said two aircrew members and three passengers continued to perform CPR as instructed by the defibrillator for 25 minutes.

They added: ‘The paramedics continued for another 30 minutes when we were all instructed to leave the plane.

‘About an hour later the ambulance was still there but we boarded again with a new aircrew to continue our journey to Manchester without the man and his friends. I asked and was told that unfortunately the man didn’t make it.’

According to the Flightradar24 live tracker, the plane passed through Italy, Switzerland and France before landing in London.
