Kate Middleton: Narinder Kaur faces backlash over comments about Princess of Wales’ appearance

Kaur immediately followed up on the post, claiming that people misunderstood her comments.

“That was a real question. My brother went through chemotherapy. He didn’t age. He died. I’m sorry if it’s insensitive or just plain wrong. Hands up. I’m sorry.”

Following more heated backlash, including what Kaur claimed was “racist, disgusting misogyny” aimed at her, she posted an apology video online, claiming she was not mean or malicious.

“I sent a stupid tweet. That wasn’t my intention, it wasn’t my intention to be malicious or mean-spirited or anything like that,” Kaur said.

“I’m not like that, everyone who knows me. It was stupid to ask about aging. “I admitted that, put my hands up and apologized if I offended anyone.”

Furthering the thread, Kaur angered royal fans once again by taking aim at Middleton’s privilege and accusing the royal family of profiting from cancer charities.

“He took almost a year off from work. Of course he has to pay for this. I know many people who have been in and out of the hospital for pre-cancer treatment and have returned to work,” Kaur wrote.

“People suffer, work and have to work all day long. My own brother worked until weeks before he died. So Kate has a lot of privilege here. I don’t excuse my tweet. “But my point is that you’re all mad at me, but you’re not mad at the fact that her husband and father-in-law are profiting from cancer charities.”

Middleton has made very few public appearances this year following abdominal surgery. preventive chemotherapyBut her husband, Prince William, recently revealed that he plans to increase her workload in the coming months and wants her to rejoin him on overseas visits.
