ITV’s Real Fatal Attraction will examine Anisah Ahmed’s Sinister Plan

ITV’s Real Fatal Attraction will examine Anisah Ahmed’s Sinister Plan

With a sinister plan, Anisah Ahmed tried to destroy the reputation of the lawyer with whom she had an affair.

Plans to destroy Iqbal Mohammed will be examined in ITV documentary Real Fatal Attraction.

The documentary draws parallels between Ahmed’s crimes and the plot of the 1987 film Fatal Attraction.

In the film, Alex (Glenn Close) begins a relationship with Dan (Michael Douglas) but becomes infuriated when he tries to end the fling.

When Dan comes home and sees his girlfriend’s rabbit boiling in the pot on the stove, his desire for revenge reaches a shocking level.

The real-life case began when Iqbal received a LinkedIn request from Ahmed, whose profile identified him as a young lawyer from Oxford.

Following his request, Ahmed sent an email with 10 questions regarding Iqbal’s career history and salary.

Iqbal deleted the messages because he thought they appeared “arrogant”.

Three years later, Ahmed sent another LinkedIn request.

This time Iqbal accepted and the two started dating. They soon had a relationship that lasted nine months.

Iqbal was married during this time and Iqbal claimed that he was not aware of this.

Furious that her marriage came to light on social media, the woman contacted Iqbal’s wife and confessed to the affair.

Her sinister plan continued by sending fake emails from her work account and claiming that Iqbal was harassing her.

Ahmed also told the police that Iqbal had threatened to post her intimate photos online.

The initial plan failed and a criminal investigation into the harassment was launched.

Ahmed went a step further and falsely accused Iqbal of rape, which led to his arrest in June 2015.

She also staged her own kidnapping and recruited an ex-boyfriend to help her. Ahmed asked her to stab him, but when she refused, he plunged the knife into her thigh.

Ahmed told the police that he was kidnapped by a hitman hired by Iqbal. She called the police in the ambulance and said her ex-girlfriend’s name after claiming she was running from a killer.

Eventually his story failed under scrutiny and he was arrested.

Iqbal said that he was grateful to his wife for being able to forgive him after being apart for a while.

Everything Ahmed told Iqbal was a lie.

His stories about saving 10 prisoners from death row in Malawi were completely fake, as was his forensic science degree.

This discovery led to his disbarment in 2018.

Ahmed’s ex-boyfriend was given a two-year suspended prison sentence and ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work as well as pay a £2,000 prosecution fee.

Anisah Ahmed became the first person to be sentenced to life imprisonment for perverting the course of justice in April 2021, but her sentence was suspended seven months later. overthrown The prison sentence was increased to 10 years by the Court of Appeal.

After less than four years in prison, Ahmed was released.

He is under a home detention curfew, which means he must wear an electronic tag and can only leave his home at certain times.

Muhammad Iqbal condemns “shameful” decision in question:

“I can’t believe no one bothered to tell me this before. That’s incredible. “I was left completely in the dark.”

Real Fatal Attraction It examines Anisah Ahmed’s criminal plot and will be released on November 13, 2024. It will be available to watch on ITVX later.
