A conflict between Liverpool F.C. left back Andy Robertson and the referee David Coote This resurfaced after the referee was suspended following apparent derogatory remarks about the Anfield club.

“This is not a penalty for me,” Robertson shouted at the referees after Johan Berg Gudmundsson’s challenge. “What’s the point of having VAR? What’s the point of having you? Wait until you see it.”

Coote took responsibility for Liverpool’s 2-0 win against Aston Villa last weekend.
