Tom Cruise released the first trailer for ‘Mission: Impossible 8’

Almost thirty years later, it seems like Mission: Impossible The film series is finally coming to an end. Eighth installment, Final ShowdownIt is planned to be released on May 23, 2025, with the actor in the lead roles. Tom Cruise recently revealed the poster, the title of the film and its first trailer.

The 62-year-old actor shared the trailer and the caption, “Every choice led to this.” This indicates that the eighth installment of the series will wrap up many loose ends in the previous films. It was originally planned to be a ‘part two’ Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Final Showdown has experienced numerous delays and disruptions in production, primarily as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and SAG-AFTRA writers, actors strike last year.

The new movie features some familiar faces previous installments. The cast includes Simon Pegg, Hayley Atwell, Esai Morales, Ving Rhames, Vanessa Kirby, Pom Klementieff and many more. Several new characters will also be introduced, including but not limited to:Played by Hannah Waddingham, Janet McTeer, Katy O’Brian and Nick Offerman.

Over the course of just a few minutes, Cruise is shown hanging from a biplane, crashing into cars, exploring the wreck of a submarine, and of course, dashing through a variety of different environments.

Despite While the first trailer doesn’t reveal much about the plot, there are a few details that will be exciting for fans, especially since it’s similar in content to most other action movie trailers. Even though everything so far points to that Final Showdown As a farewell to the series, both Cruise and director Christopher McQuarrie have repeatedly said that they want to continue the series indefinitely. Mission: Impossible star Simon Pegg speaks Far out confirmed earlier this year: “(Tom Cruise) shows no signs of stopping. He will stop when he cannot do what he wants to do,” and he explains: “He will never want to change his target audience in a short time.”
