And now one person is getting Rs 300 billion for his upcoming film and has become India’s highest paid actor. . The superstar in question is Allu Arjun, who received such a huge amount of money for Pushpa 2: The Rule.

According to the latest news in Track Tollywood, Allu Arjun is charging Rs 300 million for the much-awaited Pushpa sequel. This made him India’s highest-paid actor, surpassing Thalapathy Vijay. Vijay was reportedly paid Rs 275 billion for Thalapathy 69, which was his last film in his acting career before entering politics permanently.

Scheduled to be released on December 5 Pushpa 2: Rule also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles; they will reprise their roles as Srivalli and Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat respectively. Sreeleela replaced Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the new item girl in the action drama film.

Pushpa The Rise: Part 1 became the highest-grossing Indian film of 2021, earning over ₹350 crore at the worldwide box office. Originally made in Telugu, the action drama was also dubbed into Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada and was a blockbuster across India. The sequel will also be released in the same five languages.


Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Pushpa 2 also stars Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari in important roles. The film is expected to set the box office on fire with opening day estimates of Rs 275 million at the worldwide box office.
