Police identify victim and suspect in fatal stabbing on South Division Boulevard

On November 6, 2024, a woman was fatally stabbed in downtown Grand Rapids.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Police have identified 54-year-old Lavonia Lucille Parham as the victim of a stabbing on South Division Boulevard last week.

The man accused of killing her, 60-year-old Michael Anthony Rose, is charged with fourth offense open murder and carrying a concealed weapon.
