What happened to DeSagu on Thika Road?

To talk TUKO.co.ke, Mwenda said he saw the story trending online and sent his men to find the comedian and check if the story was true.

When they realized it was true, he sent word for the comedian to visit him at the office.

“Yesterday, I had an honest conversation with my friend, top Kenyan comedian Henry DeSagu, known as the King of Mwihoko. I can confirm to Kenyans in good faith that DeSagu is well and good,” he said.

“We all go through hardships, and sometimes just knowing that someone cares can make a big difference. Being a ‘brother’s keeper’ means offering support, listening and stepping up when others are suffering,” he added.

Mwenda also noted that such connections foster stronger bonds and can help everyone grow together.

How will Mwenda work with DeSagu?

During the meeting, the duo discussed various issues related to youth empowerment, mental health and other factors affecting young people in the creative industry.

“Over the years, I have worked with struggling creators and helped them with money, equipment, etc. to get started,” Mwenda said.

“We will work with DeSagu on the foundation’s nutrition program for street children and the disabled. We will work together for the rest of the year and maybe next year as well,” he added.

How did DeSagu react to the concert?

The comedian, on the other hand, was excited about the partnership with Mwenda Empowerment Foundation.

“I had a heart-to-heart meeting with Mwenda yesterday and we discussed youth empowerment, mental health and other factors affecting young people in the creative industry. A friend in need is a friend indeed,” he said.

DeSagu reacts to rumors about his health

DeSagu was recently seen on Thika-Ngoingwa-Mangu Road, allegedly confused and talking to himself.

He was reportedly rescued by a well-wisher and passersby and taken to Thika Level 5 Hospital where he received emergency medical attention.
