Carroll County man found guilty of 10-year rape and sexual abuse

CAMPBELLSBURG, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police say Terry Glacken was found guilty of multiple counts of rape and sexual abuse following an investigation that revealed he had been abusing a female victim for 10 years.

Authorities detailed that KSP Post 5 received a report of sexual assault on June 16, 2021. Following the investigation, police determined that the female victim had been sexually abused multiple times over a period of 10 years, starting from her childhood.

According to KSP, police reported that two more harassment victims were found while continuing the investigation. Glacken was later arrested and charged with multiple counts of rape and sexual abuse.

Glacken was found guilty of the following charges:

  • First Degree Sodomy, Victim Under 12
  • First Degree Rape, Forcible Compulsion
  • First Degree Rape, Forcible Compulsion
  • Incest
  • First Degree Sexual Abuse, Victim Under 12 Years of Age
  • First Degree Rape, Victim Under 12
  • First Degree Sexual Abuse, Victim Under 12 Years of Age
  • First Degree Sexual Abuse
  • First Degree Sexual Abuse

Glacken is scheduled to be formally sentenced in January 2025.
