Abilene man accused of making kids record explicit videos of each other

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – An Abilene man accused of having children record inappropriate videos of each other has been arrested.

Kenneth Allen was taken into custody on Wednesday with a Sexual Performance by a Child warrant issued in connection with the allegations.

Court documents say the parents of two boys under the age of 8 cleared their sons’ tablets when they found sexually explicit images and videos of the boys.

When confronted, the children said Allen, who is related to them, had been showing them sexually explicit videos for months and had secretly encouraged them to make similar videos, the documents state.

The documents also state that during forensic interviews, the children recorded videos and stated that they did not feel safe around Allen.

Timestamps on the videos also indicate they were recorded while the children were in Allen’s care.

Allen is currently being held in the Taylor County Jail on $100,000 bail.
