JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 44-year-old man went viral after running onto the football field during Edward Waters University’s homecoming game on Saturday.

At first it seemed like it was a mistake or a joke, as Daniel Kozlowski slowly started running towards the field and then began waving to the crowd.

But this was not a mistake.

The video shows campus security holding Kozlowski to the ground, the crowd watching Kozlowski and grunting when he falls.

The News4JAX Sports Team captured video of Kozlowski being led away in handcuffs. At one point he is seen trying to break free from their grasp.

The game was interrupted for a short time but then resumed.

Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office records show that wasn’t the only crime Kozlowski allegedly committed on Nov. 9.

He is also charged with grand larceny, theft and trespassing at a local airport, as well as battery on a first responder and disorderly conduct.

Kozlowski is in the Duval County jail.
