Spotless Constellation: Witness claims Pentagon has secret UAP/UFO program during congressional hearing

At a House Oversight Committee Oversight and Accountability subcommittee hearing on Wednesday, a former Pentagon official testified that information about Unidentified Anomalous Events (UAPs), or UFOs, is being withheld from the public by a “tribe.”

Luiz Elizondo, who claims to be the former head of the Department of Defense’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), said the US government has been investigating UAP reports for decades.

“Although much of my government’s work on UAP still remains secret, excessive secrecy has led to serious crimes against loyal officers, military personnel, and the public; all to hide the fact that we are not alone in the universe,” Elizondo said. he said. in question. “A small cadre within our government dealing with the UAP issue has created a culture of pressure and intimidation from which I, along with many of my former colleagues, have personally suffered.”

Elizondo suggested three “key actions” that should be taken:

“First, Congress and the President should create a single point of contact responsible for a whole-of-government approach to the UAP issue. Currently, the White House, CIA, NASA, Pentagon, Department of Energy and others are playing a role, but no one appears to be in charge, leading to unchecked power and corruption.” It leads.

“Second, we need a national UAP strategy that will promote transparency and help rebuild the trust of the American people at a time when public trust is at an all-time low. This strategy must include a whole-of-government approach, including academic and scientific communities, the private sector and our international partners and allies.

“Third, Congress should create a protected environment so that whistleblowers who are desperate to do the right thing can come forward without fear. As it stands now, these whistleblowers suffer from stigma, codes of silence, and concerns of retaliation. These whistleblowers must come forward in a way that protects them from any retaliation.” Policies and procedures should provide this protection, and for those who refuse to cooperate, Members of this Committee and other legislators may use subpoena powers against hostile witnesses and block additional Government funding for UAP efforts that remain secret from Congressional oversight.”

Dr. D., a retired U.S. Navy rear admiral. Tim Gallaudet also testified at Wednesday’s hearing about reported military conflicts involving UAPs.

“Confirmation that UAPs were interacting with humanity came in January 2015, when I was serving as Commander, Naval Meteorological and Oceanographic Command. At the time, my personnel was participating in a pre-deployment naval exercise off the East Coast of the United States that included the USS Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group ” said Dr. Galludet.

Galludet said he received an email over the Navy’s secure network from Fleet Forces Command’s operations officer during the exercise. The subject line read in all caps: “URGENT FLIGHT SAFETY ISSUE,” it said.

He explained that the email was “short but concerning and included the following statement: ‘If anyone knows what these are, please tell me as soon as possible. We are experiencing a number of collisions in the air and if we don’t resolve this soon, we will have to stop the exercise.’

Gallaudet said a now-declassified video was attached to the email, which disappeared from his inbox the very next day and the incident was never discussed again.

Gallaudet said the incident always haunted him for the remainder of his service and emphasized the government’s public safety requirement for greater UAP transparency.

The biggest breakthrough at Wednesday’s hearing came from independent journalist Michael Shellenberger, who claimed that sources within the Pentagon had uncovered information about a UAP program known as “Perfect Constellation.”

“A source warned that printing the name ‘Spotless Constellation’ could result in government surveillance under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) on the person who published it,” Shellenberger said. “‘They won’t comment on it, but talking about it will put you in the danger zone,’ they told me. ‘They enforce secrecy very zealously.'”

Shellenberger presented the subcommittee with a report from someone he described as “a current or former U.S. government official who acted as a UAP whistleblower.”

Shellenberger said the tipster claimed the Defense Department created the “Immaculate Constellation” program in 2017, after the attack. New York Times He published an article describing an unofficial Pentagon UAP program called the “Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program,” or AATIP, headed by Elizondo.

Shellenberger explained that the whistleblower report contained seven categories of evidence detailing various UAP observations collected by technical teams and U.S. military personnel.

He explained that the report identifies “UAP features that are difficult or impossible to observe with the human eye alone.”

Like other witnesses, Shellenberger is calling for more transparency.

“This issue cuts to the core of our democracy. UAP transparency is bipartisan and critical to our national security. The next Congress and Administration must work together to address this issue as a matter of urgency. We deserve the truth,” he said. .
