New South Wales Police release CCCTV footage as they appeal for information following attack in Sydney CBD

Police have released CCTV footage as part of a call to locate a man who allegedly attacked another man in Sydney’s CBD.

Officers from the City of Sydney Police Area Command launched an investigation into the incident where a man was allegedly struck while walking on Druitt Bridge at around 12.30pm on Sunday, November 10.

Police were informed that an argument broke out between two groups after a man approached him from behind and punched him in the head.

“The 29-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to hospital for a facial injury,” NSW Police said in a statement. he said.

While investigations were ongoing, CCTV footage of a man who authorities believe may assist investigations has been made public.

The man is reported to be of Indian-Continental appearance, between 25-30 years old, with short black hair, a black beard and a goatee.

At the time of the alleged attack, the man was wearing a black button-up shirt and blue jeans with black and white shoes.
