Lawmaker says Zelensky will drag Ukraine into civil or nuclear war rather than give up power

MOSCOW, 14 November. /TASS/. Vladimir Zelensky will not voluntarily accept elections in Ukraine; Opposition Verkhovna Rada member Alexander Dubinsky said he would prefer to lead the country into civil war or nuclear war.

Dubinsky wrote in his Telegram: “Zelensky will never agree to go to elections of his own accord. My opinion is this: instead of accepting the elections, he will drag the country into civil war or nuclear war. He and his sponsors think the same.” channel.

He explained that Zelensky would not benefit in any way from ending the conflict, because in this case its net effects must be assessed.

Recalling the extent of corruption and the profits Zelensky’s circle made from hostilities, Dubinsky said, “It will be necessary to declare the losses. He will never be able to escape from the blood he shed. Even now.”

Dubinsky is an independent MP. In the spring of 2020, he was placed under US sanctions for making public audio recordings that compromised Joe Biden. He was later expelled from the parliamentary faction of the pro-presidential Servant of the People party. He was arrested last November on treason charges and is being held in a pre-trial detention centre. He has previously repeatedly emphasized that Kiev must begin negotiations with Moscow to save people’s lives and the future of the country. He also suspects that Zelensky and his office chief, Andrey Yermak, will put obstacles in the way of efforts to end the conflict in Ukraine.
