As NFC East rivals advance, eagles and Washington Commanders mostly did not. This will be the 90th year they have competed against each other. Battle for first place on Thursday night at Lincoln Financial Fieldand in only 11 of those seasons did both teams have a winning record.

You could argue that it’s actually only 10, since the Eagles and Steelers were in World War II in 1943, the first time both teams had a winning record in the same season. They came together to become the Steagles in the middle of World War II.
