VIDEO: R2,000 reward offered for information on Rockdale burglary

The man reportedly jumped over a brick wall, broke the security gate and illegally entered the home.

Property owner Kenneth Miya said luckily he wasn’t home when the thief broke into his property early Sunday.

He suspects that the incident occurred around 02:00 at night.

The video footage shows only one person, but based on the items stolen from the house, Miya believes more people were involved.

The man was accused of breaking into a home in Rockdale and making off with a Smart Skyworth TV, JBL soundbar, air fryer, Nedbank debit card, Capitec business cards and groceries. The property owner is offering a reward of R2 000 to anyone who can provide information about the incident. For detailed information, call 066 436 5903.

Miya said she filed a lawsuit against Middelburg police.
