Man stabbed in Schenectady injured

Schenectady Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred early Thursday morning.

Officers responded to the area of ​​Euclid Avenue around 12:12 a.m. for a report of a man stabbed. Schenectady Police said the victim was found with a stab wound to his chest and a cut to his shin. The man told police that he was walking on Arthur Street when a man he did not know approached and stabbed him.

He was taken to a local hospital and underwent surgery there.

No arrests were made in the case.
