Theodore man jailed on child pornography charges

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A 39-year-old Theodore man was booked into Mobile County Metro Jail Thursday morning on four counts of possession of child pornography.

Jail records show James Matthew Green was booked into the facility on these charges at 8:25 a.m.

The arrest came after the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office ICAC Unit and Special Operations Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Hayfield Circle North after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, authorities said. While at the scene, MCSO detectives discovered additional evidence of child sexual abuse materials, according to the agency.

ICAC – or Internet Crimes Against Children – is a National network of 61 coordinated task forces representing more than 5,400 federal, state and local law enforcement agencies.
