RCMP investigating attacks at Brazeau Dam

A woman was seriously injured in a shooting in southwest Drayton Valley on Saturday night.

RCMP responded to reports of shots fired at Brazeau Dam.

When officers arrived at the scene just before midnight, they found the woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was taken to the University of Alberta hospital, where police said he was in critical but stable condition.

One person was detained at the scene without incident.

The 43-year-old Edmonton man faces charges including attempted murder.
