“To all residents of the southern suburban area, especially those in the Ghobeiry area, you are located near facilities and interests affiliated with Hezbollah,” the post said.

“For your own safety and the safety of your family members, you must immediately evacuate these buildings and those adjacent to them,” the statement said.

Israel and Iran-linked Lebanese militant group Hezbollah have been exchanging fire for more than a year, parallel to the Israel-Hamas war in the Gaza Strip.

Israel’s repeated air strikes on the south of Beirut led to mass civilian migration.

Friday’s attack came a day after the Israeli army said it had hit nearly 30 targets in the southern suburbs in the past 48 hours.

The death toll in Israeli attacks on Lebanon since the start of the current round of the Israel-Hezbollah conflict has risen to 3,386, Lebanon’s health ministry said on Thursday.

The ministry added that 14 thousand 417 people have been injured so far.

All eyes are on a possible ceasefire agreement in the conflict.

Israeli media reported on Thursday that Lebanon was likely to respond to the US ceasefire offer within the next 24 hours.

Israel put forward three conditions for the ceasefire agreement: Hezbollah must withdraw to the area north of the Litani River; The southern region of Lebanon needs to be deployed by the Lebanese Armed Forces; Hezbollah is not allowed to buy weapons through Syria.

If Hezbollah does not accept the three conditions mentioned above and launches an attack on Israel, the Israeli army will continue or even expand its military operations.
