West Asia crisis: Israeli attack hits south Beirut after evacuation call

The death toll in Israeli attacks on Lebanon since the start of the current round of the Israel-Hezbollah conflict has risen to 3,386, Lebanon’s health ministry said on Thursday.

The ministry added that 14 thousand 417 people have been injured so far.

All eyes are on a possible ceasefire agreement in the conflict.

Lebanon to respond to US ceasefire offer

Israeli media reported on Thursday that Lebanon was likely to respond to the US ceasefire offer within the next 24 hours.

Israel put forward three conditions for the ceasefire agreement: Hezbollah must withdraw to the area north of the Litani River; The southern region of Lebanon needs to be deployed by the Lebanese Armed Forces; Hezbollah is not allowed to buy weapons through Syria.

If Hezbollah does not accept the three conditions mentioned above and launches an attack on Israel, the Israeli army will continue or even expand its military operations.
