Investigation continues into fatal stabbing of 35-year-old Staten Island father

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — An investigation is ongoing into the recent stabbing of a Richmond Harbor man on a residential street in broad daylight.

The late Elvis Tzintzun (35), He died from his injuries days after the November 6 incident. According to an NYPD spokesperson.

As of Friday morning, there have been no arrests in the case.

Police responded to a stabbing on Maple Avenue between Grove Boulevard and Richmond Terrace around 12:35 p.m. Authorities said Tzintzun was found at the scene with multiple stab wounds.

Emergency Services transported the victim to Richmond University Medical Center in West Brighton, where he was listed in critical condition.

Tzintzun is the father of a 4-year-old son and has worked many jobs throughout his life, from bakeries to construction sites, said his wife, Melissa Solis.

“He was very, very cute,” Solis said. “He never stopped telling me how beautiful I was and how much he loved me. He was the sweetest man. He was so sweet to anyone and everyone. He respected women. “He didn’t like it when anyone disrespected a woman because he would stand up.”
