Murder case against Silus Harris dismissed

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – A Madison County man’s murder charge has been dismissed.

Silus Harris pleaded his case earlier this weekAfter an argument between the two in 2022, Tovaris claimed that he shot Mason in self-defense.

Defense attorney Chad Morgan said this is a big win for Harris and his family.

“She immediately burst into tears, she was completely ecstatic about it,” Morgan said. “This was a huge relief for him and his family.

Morgan said the judge in the case granted immunity to Harris and invalidated the murder charge against him.
