B.C. man sentenced to life in prison for attempted first-degree rape

MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) – A Southeast Missouri man was sentenced to life in prison on rape charges.

Jimmie Taylor was sentenced to life in prison Nov. 12, following his current sentence at the Missouri Department of Corrections, according to a news release from the Mississippi County prosecutor’s office.

Taylor pleaded guilty on Sept. 12 to the unsealed crime of attempted first-degree rape.
