JASPER COUNTY, Mo. — The man accused of stabbing a teenager at a Jasper County bus terminal earlier this year will go to trial.

Jasper County Judge Joseph Hensley said there was enough evidence to prosecute 48-year-old David Bostic on assault charges.

Bostic is charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action for allegedly stabbing an 18-year-old in the neck.

The incident took place at the bus terminal on Duenweg in January.

Bostic fled the scene and was found in Queens, New York, in September, authorities said.

Bostic asked the court for a speedy trial.
