Baba Siddiqui murder: Punjab Police arrests Fazilka-based person in joint operation

In a significant breakthrough, the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) ​​of the Punjab Police, in collaboration with the Maharashtra Police, arrested Akash Gill, a resident of Fazilka, for providing logistical support in the Baba Siddiqui murder case. Baba Siddiqui was shot dead in Mumbai last month.

DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav revealed that Akash Gill was linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and helped the hitmen involved in the murder. Gill was handed over to Mumbai police for further investigation.

The joint operation was led by DSP Rajan Parminder Singh and AGTF teams worked closely with Mumbai police under the supervision of AIG AGTF Sandeep Goel. The revelation of Gill’s role during the ongoing investigation led to immediate action.
