Jake Paul calls out Conor McGregor and offers to fight him under MMA rules after the UFC legend described his bout with Mike Tyson as a ’16-minute sparring session’

Jake Paul called out Conor McGregor 12 hours after beating 58-year-old Mike Tyson.

Paul, 27, beat boxing icon Tyson, the undisputed world heavyweight champion from 1987 to 1990, by unanimous decision after eight two-minute rounds on Friday night.

The event attracted widespread criticism, largely due to the age difference between the two men.

Former two-weight UFC champion McGregor expressed his disapproval on X (formerly Twitter), saying: ‘It’s a 16-minute bout with sparring gloves. ‘Fuck you.’

McGregor later deleted the tweet, but that didn’t stop Paul from responding on the same platform.

Paul fired back: ‘Dear Conor, I know you told my team you would fight me at 170lbs. This never happens. But let’s put this to work in MMA. There is no weight class. Just like it used to be done. But you won’t.

The fight, in which Tyson was 31 years older than his opponent, was seen as a farce by many viewers.

McGregor and Paul had previously exchanged blows via social media.

After Paul knocked out Mike Perry in July, McGregor described the YouTube star as ‘the biggest fuck I’ve ever seen in my life’.

The Irishman added: ’40kg weight difference, juices flowing out of his head and he’s still fucking himself in there. Nakisa you gotta take him to Vegas, yeah right, you could never do that, athletic commission tests, real tests, real fights.

‘B***ha**es. You never can. And then shout out to 60-year-old Mike Tyson, who just recovered from an in-flight medical emergency? I swear it’s a big box of b***hp***. The most valuable fuck bag.’

The two haven’t really liked each other for a while; Paul makes it clear he wants to give McGregor a chance.

But it had previously been assumed that any fight would probably take place in a boxing ring.

Paul was quick to respond to McGregor’s criticism following his win over Perry.

He hit back: ‘It’s ridiculous that he sacked your BKFC champion. I told you this would happen. ‘I told you exactly what would happen.’

McGregor, who was photographed watching the Daniel Dubois vs Anthony Joshua fight in September, is a former two-weight UFC champion but also fought boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr in 2017.

Paul didn’t stop there.

After taking some time to gather his thoughts following his win over Perry, he took aim at McGregor again at the post-fight press conference.

“She was raising her son, Mike Perry,” Paul continued. And I said: “Okay Conor, after you destroy Mike Perry, it’s your turn.”

‘So Conor is always on Twitter. Always on his yacht.

‘Guess where it’s not? You’re fighting me in the ring.

‘He can talk all he wants but The Notorious MMA is afraid of Disney Channel’s Jake Joseph Paul. And I put this on my mother.’
