Crystal Lake police arrest 3 people for license issues during Halloween enforcement – Shaw Local

Crystal Lake Police Department The agency said in a news release that it made three license-related arrests and issued eight speeding tickets during its Halloween enforcement efforts.

In addition, administrative fines were imposed twice for registration violations and twice for insurance violations.

Law enforcement agencies across Illinois are joining the effort to “save lives by removing impaired drivers from the roads and connecting more people to safety,” the department said. The drop enforcement campaign took place from 18 October to 1 November. Across the state, extra emphasis has been placed on enforcement late at night, when statistics show that the highest number of free and impaired driving deaths occur.

The latest law enforcement campaign was made possible thanks to federal highway safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
