Mississippi worship leader admits producing child porn

GULFPORT, Miss. (WJTV) – A Mississippi worship leader pleaded guilty Thursday to producing child pornography.

Court documents stated that Tyler SelbySaucier was identified when UK authorities recovered a video from a social media user in the US.

Federal authorities in the US identified Selby as the person who transmitted the video of an adult male and a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct. Prosecutors said Selby knew the video would be carried and transmitted over the internet using a live streaming platform in interstate and foreign commerce.

Selby pleaded guilty to using a minor in his legal custody to produce and transmit a vivid visual depiction of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

Selby is scheduled to be sentenced on March 6, 2025, and faces a minimum sentence of 15 years and a maximum of 30 years in prison.

WXXV reported He said Selby was a worship leader at a Baptist church in Harrison County.

The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations with assistance from West Yorkshire Police in the United Kingdom.
